Executive Director Bojan Lazić Participates in the European Parliament’s Sakharov Fellowship Programme
Bojan Lazić, Executive Director of the Association Da se zna!, is one of 14 human rights defenders from around the world selected to participate in the 11th Sakharov Fellowship Programme of the European Parliament.

During their stay in Brussels, the programme participants exchanged experiences, strengthened their advocacy skills, and discussed contemporary human rights challenges with key European Union stakeholders. The programme included meetings with Mounir Satouri, Chair of the European Parliament’s Subcommittee on Human Rights (DROI); Kajsa Ollongren, European Union Special Representative for Human Rights; Sophie Wilmès, Vice-President of the European Parliament; as well as numerous representatives of civil society organisations and international institutions.
Bojan also had the opportunity to meet with Members of the European Parliament, representatives of the European Commission, and officials from the European External Action Service (EEAS), with whom he discussed the state of human rights, the situation of LGBT+ people, and current socio-political challenges in Serbia.

Participation in this prestigious programme represents significant international recognition of the work of the Association Da se zna! and contributes to strengthening international cooperation in the field of human rights protection.
